Awwies. Their real first meeting. This scene would take place during the mid- to late 80's... so little Stuart's about 8-10 years old, and Murdoc in his early twenties. And you know how young rebel men are! Fighting all the time... or not. Probably Muds was beaten up by his bro' and some other punks again, but at least he fought back. (look at his bruised knuckels)

I really like this picture, it's dark but still pretty sweet. Never drew young Gorillaz before, so I thought it was 'bout time... For once, I'm happy with both the characters and the background--

Whaddya say? There are no big spruce forests in England? Well... er.. Shut up!! D: Maybe you never looked close enough! *runs away crying*

Ok people, listen here. I'm getting tired of recieving comments where I'm told that 2D can't be eight because he got his blue hair from falling down a tree when he was in his pre-teens. I ALREADY KNOW THAT. So please, please look at the date this piece was submitted before posting a repeating comment like that. It's pre-RotO. Meaning noone knew about 2D's hair's origin. And noone knew that they were to change the story behind Muds' nobnose. PLEASE.
